What is OceanGrid?
OceanGrid is a Microsoft Teams application that helps you discover your work personality through the Big Five (OCEAN) personality assessment. It provides insights into your Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism traits.
How long does the assessment take?
The Big Five personality assessment takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. You'll answer 20 questions about your behaviors, preferences, and tendencies in work situations.
Where is my data stored?
Your assessment data is stored exclusively in YOUR OneDrive account. We use Microsoft Graph API to save your results directly to your personal OneDrive, which means we never have access to your assessment data. You maintain full control and can view, export, or delete your data at any time.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your personality assessment results are 100% private and stored only in your OneDrive. We do not have access to your results, and they are not shared with anyone without your explicit permission. We only collect anonymized usage statistics to improve the application.
What is the Big Five personality model?
The Big Five (also known as OCEAN) is a widely-accepted personality framework in psychology that measures five core traits: Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. It's backed by decades of research and is one of the most reliable personality assessment methods.
Can I retake the assessment?
Yes! You can retake the assessment at any time within the OceanGrid app in Microsoft Teams. Your previous results will be stored in your OneDrive, allowing you to track changes in your personality profile over time.
How do I install OceanGrid?
Simply click the 'Add to Microsoft Teams' button on our homepage or search for 'OceanGrid' in the Microsoft Teams app store. You'll need to grant permission for the app to access your OneDrive for data storage.
What permissions does OceanGrid need?
OceanGrid requires permission to: (1) Access your basic profile information (name, email) for authentication, (2) Store data in your OneDrive for saving assessment results, and (3) Access Microsoft Teams context (theme, locale) for proper display.
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can export your assessment data from within the OceanGrid app. Your data will be exported in JSON format and can be downloaded or shared as needed. Since your data is stored in OneDrive, you also have direct access to it through your OneDrive files.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete your assessment data at any time from within the OceanGrid app using the Data Management section. This will remove all your assessment results from your OneDrive. You can also uninstall the app from Microsoft Teams.
Is OceanGrid suitable for hiring decisions?
OceanGrid is designed for self-discovery and personal development, not for making employment decisions. The assessment provides insights into work styles and preferences but should not be used as the sole basis for hiring, promotion, or other employment decisions.
What if I encounter technical issues?
If you experience any technical problems, please contact our support team at support@oceangrid.app with a description of the issue, including any error messages and screenshots if possible. We'll respond as quickly as we can to help resolve the problem.
Does OceanGrid work on mobile?
Yes! OceanGrid works within the Microsoft Teams mobile app. You can take the assessment and view your results on any device where Teams is installed.
How much does OceanGrid cost?
Pricing information is available within the Microsoft Teams app store. Please check there for current pricing and any available trial periods.
